I acutally didn't use this template as a countdown to launch but as a place filler, for a site redesign. I knew that the page would not be up for long, so I removed the countdown aspect and used it as a 'please pardon us as we remodel'. It worked very well because it allowed me to load updated pages and style sheets and test those while anyone that visited the site would see something pretty and professional.
